Traumatic pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm with concomitant pulmonary embolism
Pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysms (PAPs) are uncommon but are important to diagnose due to their associated high mortality rates. Traumatic PAPs are exceedingly rare, with only 25 cases obtained in a literature search of ‘traumatic pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm’ using PubMed.
