Cannabis use in warfarin-treated patients is associated with increased risk of acute myocardial infarction and stroke: A matched cohort analysis
Comments
This was a TriNetX-based retrospective cohort comparison study. The TriNetX platform enables real-time querying of large populations sourced from major healthcare organizations (HCOs). The platform utilizes de-identified patient records fully in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Therefore, there was no collection or transmission of identifiable patient information, and this study was deemed exempt from institutional review board (IRB) approval.
